Virgin Mountain REE

The Virgin Mountain Rare Earths Project is situated on the border of Nevada and Arizona, proximal to the world-class Mountain Pass Rare Earth Element (REE) producing mine (12.15 Mt @ 4.79% Total Rare Earth Oxide (TREO)) (MP Materials Inc; MP:NYSE; US$12b market cap).

In July 2026, Lodestar increased its landholding over Virgin Mountain by ~40% to 661 acres (32 mining
tenements), staking ground that secures the extent of the mapped HREE structural corridor.

Further high-grade heavy rare earth rock chip assays were reported in July which reinforced the tenor of mineralisation, including:

  • 14.68% TREO (incl. 0.76% Dy2O3), containing 59% HREO (NGR051)
  • 1.48% TREO, containing 54% HREO (NGR050)
  • 1.39% TREO, containing 57% HREO (NGR048)

Virgin Mountain Project Location
Virgin Mountain TREO mineralisation contains significantly higher HREE than Mountain Pass, providing an opportunity to supply HREE for the new processing facility.

Virgin Mountain contains high concentrations of HREE and includes significant levels of the valuable elements Neodymium and Praseodymium (Nd/Pr).
