Company Profile

Lodestar listed on the ASX on December 21st 2007 as a spin-off from gold producer Dioro Limited, following the purchase of the Penfold project tenements from Harmony Gold subsidiary South Kal Mines Limited. Lodestar has acquired the nickel rights to the Penfold project tenements that are located within 12 kilometres of the world-class Kambalda nickel camp and cover an area of 332 square kilometres. The project contains three ultramafic belts, with a combined strike extent of up to 48 kilometres, which have received minimal nickel exploration over the past 30 years. Lodestar intends to apply systematic EM geophysical exploration to rapidly identify and assess nickel sulphide targets within the project. With a management team combining high-level skills and experience in exploration, corporate responsibilities, project evaluation, development and management, Lodestar is positioned to maximise the value of the Penfold nickel project and other opportunities.
